Careers at ICONN Cannabis

Build a career writing the plant.

We’re a small specialty broker placing cannabis risk direct with the country’s top markets — cultivation, manufacturing, retail, distribution, testing, and ancillary. If you’ve written specialty P&C and you’re ready to focus, we want to know you.

Our Culture

Operator pace. Broker depth. No bureaucracy.

We’re part of Insure Connecticut, LLC and ICONN Insurance Solutions — an independent family brokerage that built this cannabis program from the ground up. That means flat structure, fast decisions, and direct lines to the carriers we represent.

We move at the speed our clients move — renewals, bind dates, claims. Quotes turn in 48 hours, not 48 days. If you’ve worked at a wholesaler or a big-box agency and you’re tired of the layers, you’ll like it here.

Who We Want To Hear From

Always taking serious resumes.

We don’t run rolling job postings — we hire when we meet the right person. If any of these sound like you, send us your resume and a few lines about the book you’ve written.

Licensed P&C producer with cannabis or specialty experience

You’ve placed cannabis, life-science, agribusiness, or other specialty risk for three or more years. You know your way around a carrier appetite guide and a submission package, and you’re ready to focus on one industry instead of touching everything.

Account manager who can hold a cannabis book

You service complex commercial accounts, write endorsements, and handle COIs without escalating every question. You read a policy carefully and know when something on a quote doesn’t match the operation.

Claims advocate — cannabis or specialty lines

You’ve fought a product-liability claim, a crop loss, or an extraction-room property claim and know how carriers think about cannabis exposures. You write clearly and push back when an adjuster is wrong.

Get in Touch

Not a fit today? Tell us anyway.

We keep serious resumes on file. When the right seat opens, the people we already know about are the first calls we make. Send your resume — we’ll read it.
